Usefull information relating to prints
Buying photographs online
You can purchase best quality prints from all of the images you find on my website. Simply click on the purchase option beside each image to select from the various sizes available. I only offer prints that meet my high expectations for quality and detail throughout the shot.
I strive to achieve best possible results by devoted attention to details such as colour accuracy and last but not least sharpness. I guarantee exceptional quality on all of my work.
My prints, when displayed in good lighting condition, will appear rich in colours and with corner to corner details. Printing is done with the finest Epson & HP printers and best available HP archiving papers. All prints come with roughly 1 inch (2.6cm) white border surrounding the print so the prints are ready for matting and framing according your taste. Please note that picture sizes in the drop down list refer to paper size, actuall photograph is slightly smaller. (60cm x 40cm paper will show printed area sized roughly 58cm x 38cm).
Once printed, images are packaged with great care and sent via signed post. I’ll than provide you with a tracking number to ensure the print gets delivered. Small prints – A4 in size are posted in flat hard back envelope, all images over this size are shipped rolled. Please pay attention when taking the print from its packaging as careless approach may result in print damage.
Usual turn-around time for print is 4 weeks. If you have any special requirements regarding sizes, packing, shipping etc. please do not hesitate to contact me before submitting your order.
As printing process is outsourced I do not sign my images when they get printed but I can provide you with a certificate confirming photo authenticity.
Viewing photographs on this website
All photos displayed on my website were taken in RAW format using best camaras, lenses and filters and processed to JPEG to meet requirements of modern web browsers and applications. Please note that photos may not display correctly if you monitor or other screening device is not set up properly.
I would strongly recommend that you calibrate your monitor to fully appreciate quality, richness of colours and details of the photographs.
Very basic visual calibration can be done – you should be able to recognise all shades of grey on the below picture. If you can’t, please bring your monitor to authorized service and have it calibrated.
Website is designed for larger screens. To minimise scrolling please use F11 button on your keybord to swap into fullscreen view. Press is again to go back to normal view.
